Students and staff from Waynesburg Elementary were recognized at last night’s working board meeting. There will be more recognitions at next week’s regular meeting.
October is National Principals Month. Principals are the leaders of our schools. We are thankful for the impact they have on our students and staff at Lincoln County Schools.

Congratulations to Waynesburg Elementary for receiving a 🔵 Blue rating on KSA testing. This is the highest rating achievable for public schools in Kentucky per the Kentucky Department of Education color rating scale!

The Kentucky Farm Bureau Women’s Committee donated a “Book Barn” to Waynesburg Elementary yesterday. The barn was built by students in Jerry Martin’s construction class at the Garrard County Area Technology Center.

A special called meeting of the Waynesburg Elementary School Based Decision Making Council will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023. The meeting will begin at 9:00 AM at the Lincoln County Board of Education.

Coin Wars is happening at Waynesburg Elementary!
February 27 - March 3
LC 4-H agent Courtney Brock recently visited 4th and 5th grade students at Waynesburg Elementary. She spent time teaching students about electricity, insulators, conductors and circuits. The hands-on learning allowed for the students to experiment and build their own circuits.
