The 2023 Distinguished Young Women program is this Saturday night, September 10th, at 6:30 pm at the Stuart Underwood Auditorium at Lincoln County High School. The doors will open at 5:45 pm. Tickets are $10 and get be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 606.365.9782.
This is the 39th annual program and features 13 seniors from LCHS. Since the inception of the program there’s been a total of 530 participants and over $537,000 in cash awards given out for scholarships. This year alone the program will award $32,000 in scholarship money.
The winner will advance to the state program in Lexington, KY where they give away more than $26,750 in cash tuition scholarships. The 2022 DYW winner for Lincoln County was Tinsley Bastin.
