Lincoln County High School is excited to announce Brad Petrey as the new Dean of Students. Petrey will focus on managing the discipline of the student body and provide behavior management support to teachers. He will also continue to serve as the school’s athletic director.
Mr. Petrey has been with Lincoln County Schools for 25 years, spending time as a teacher, coach, home hospital instructor and as athletic director. Petrey is a 1995 graduate of Lincoln County High School. After high school he earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2000 and his masters degree in 2003 in instructional leadership.
“I am excited to begin this new role with the high school,” said Mr. Petrey. “I have worked here my entire career and care deeply about the success of our students and the district. I look forward to this new role while still focusing on our student athletes too as athletic director."
Brad and his wife, Heather, reside in Lincoln County. They have two kids, Kelby and Jason, who are graduates of LCHS. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family, playing golf and watching sports in his free time. He will immediately begin working in his new role.
