Lincoln County High School is excited to announce Chase Padgett as its new head principal. Mr. Padgett has been serving as the interim principal since March and was also the assistant principal at the high school since 2021.
Before that, he was a teacher at Lincoln County High School and Boyle County Middle School. Chase was a 2008 graduate of Lincoln County High School. After high school he attended Campbellsville University where he graduated with a degree in Social Studies Education in 2012. He received his Master’s from the University of the Cumberlands in 2016 and then his Rank I from Asbury University in 2018.
“I’m excited to serve the students, staff, and community in this role,” said Principal Padgett. “We have a wonderful group of teachers that care for our students and I look forward to working alongside them as we prepare our students for the future.”
“Chase has done a great job as the assistant principal of the school and serving as the interim head principal these past few weeks,” said Superintendent Bruce Smith. “He has a great rapport with the students and staff and a great understanding of the school. I have full confidence in him and am excited to see the high school flourish under his leadership.”
