Lincoln County Schools is pleased to announce Ashley Lynn as the new assistant principal at Hustonville Elementary. Lynn will be filling the position left vacant after the tragic passing of Paige Hackney earlier this year.
Ms. Lynn is beginning her 14th year as an educator. She has been a reading intervention teacher at Walnut Hill Elementary in Casey County for the past six years. Before that, she was a second-grade teacher at WHE.
“I felt an immediate welcome and calming when I toured the school,” said Lynn. “I knew right away that it was meant for me to continue my journey as an educator at Hustonville.”
“When considering Ms. Lynn’s skill set, experience and personality it was obvious that she would be a natural fit at our school. Her “kids first” mentality stood out when interviewing her. She will be a great addition to our school family,” said Hustonville Elementary Principal Jeff Craiger.
Lynn and her son, Lincoln, enjoy farming, reading and watching movies and she is a self-proclaimed Disney fanatic.
Ms. Lynn will start her new position on July 1st. For more information about Hustonville Elementary School, please contact the school at 606.346.3831.
