The April 11th Lincoln County Board of Education Working Meeting has been canceled due to the passing of Board Member Marvin Wilson.

Students will be dismissed starting at 1 pm today for the solar eclipse. Each student will be sent home with a pair of glasses (pictured) that can be used for viewing the eclipse. The optimal viewing times are also listed below.

Lincoln County Schools will be dismissing students beginning at 1 pm on Monday, April 8th, due to the solar eclipse. Middle and high school bus riders will leave at 1 pm with elementary schools to follow around 1:30 pm. Car riders will be released starting around 1:20 pm at all schools. The remainder of this school day will not have to be made up. Safety is of the utmost importance when viewing a total solar eclipse. 🏀 March Madness Attendance Cup Challenge
LCHS Instructional Coach Rachael Yaden recently presented at the National Council for History Education national conference held in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was selected through a rigorous application process that was grounded in the conference theme: History at the Crossroads.
The last day of school for students will now be Monday, May 20th. The school calendar was amended at last night’s board meeting to make up for the snow day used on January 23rd.

Educators from our schools participated in the Kentucky Center for Mathematics Conference held in Lexington, KY today.
Our schools are celebrating National School Breakfast Week. We are thankful for our staff who show up early every morning to make sure breakfast is available for kiddos as they arrive to school!
