Lincoln County and Garrard County Area Technology Centers hosted counselors from Danville, Boyle County, Garrard County, Lincoln County and Kentucky School for the Deaf today to discuss the opportunities available for students at each center.
The group started the day at the Lincoln County Area Technology Center. After a brief discussion the group toured the facility (pictures below) checking out the HVAC, computerized machining and manufacturing, welding and health science programs. The group ended the tour with a lunch provided by Chef Cassidy and his students from LCHS.
After lunch the group traveled to Garrard County and toured their facilities too. There are lots of amazing opportunities for area students at these great technology centers!
