Lincoln County Schools Superintendent Michael Rowe has announced his last day as superintendent will be December 31st, 2022. The agreement was reached at today’s Lincoln County Board of Education Special-Called Board Meeting.
The board voted 3-2 to enter an agreement with Mr. Rowe to become a consultant to the district beginning January 1st and ending June 30th.
Per the agreement Mr. Rowe would provide advice and consultation to the board within the area of facilities, budgets and human resources.
The search for a replacement superintendent is expected to begin immediately.
The Board of Education will meet again on January 5th for its normally scheduled working meeting. No further information is available at this time.
