Farmers National Bank has made their seventh annual $5,000 donation to Lincoln County Schools. The annual donation serves as a grant for many different groups within the school district.
The Farmers National Bank Grant is available to organizations who apply for help with projects, club activities and athletic events. The grant has benefited over 30 different school groups and athletic teams since it began six years ago. All of the requests for funding are $250 or below so that the grant is able to impact numerous students.
Last year the grant benefitted students who were involved with:
LCHS boys golf
LCHS girls golf
LCHS volleyball
LCMS baseball
LCHS baseball
Waynesburg Elementary PE
LCHS bowling team
LCHS boys/girls cross country
LCHS Educators Rising
Stanford Elementary archery
LCHS girls basketball
School groups may apply for the Farmers National Bank Grant by completing the grant application and returning it to Lincoln County Schools Finance Officer Lee Ann Smith via email at leeann.smith@lincoln.kyschools.us
