At tonight’s Lincoln County Board of Education meeting two new incentives for employees were approved.
The district approved a 3% match for pre tax annuity (401k, 403b and 457b) contributions by participants with approved providers. Employees must finish the current year and their contract must be renewed and accepted for the following academic year to be eligible.
The board also approved adding one (1) additional personal day, for a total of three personal days, for all staff. The district previously allowed each employee two personal days per year.
“We approved raises earlier this year and have been looking for more ways to retain and recruit great staff,” said Superintendent Bruce Smith. “We hope these approved incentives are received well and I am thankful for our board members for their continued support in making Lincoln County a great place to work.”
