Lincoln County Schools is pleased to welcome Mrs. Jane Paynter as the Interim Director of Special Education for the district.
Mrs. Paynter spent 27 years as the director of special education for Boyle County Schools and most recently worked for the Kentucky Department of Education as the Special Education Director and Director of State Schools for Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD) and Kentucky School for the Blind (KSB) where she retired this past September.
“I am excited to announce the appointment of Jane Paynter as the Interim Director of Special Education for the district,” said Superintendent Bruce Smith. “She brings many years of experience to the district as a teacher, director and consultant. She will be a huge asset to our students and staff here in Lincoln County.”
Jane currently lives in Danville with her husband, Charlie. She enjoys cooking, cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats and spending time with her family in her free time. She will begin in her new role next Monday, January 8th.
