The 2024 Lincoln County Distinguished Young Women program is this Saturday at 6:30 pm at Lincoln County High School inside the Stuart Underwood Auditorium. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 606.365.9782.
This is the 40th annual program and features 15 seniors vying for a total of $38,000 in scholarships. Each student will compete in five categories: scholastics, interview, talent, self-expression and fitness.
The winner will advance to the state program in Lexington, KY, where they will be able to compete for more scholarship opportunities. The 2023 DYW winner for Lincoln County was Chloe Perkins.
