A new 24x48 gothic style greenhouse was recenlty installed at Lincoln County High School. This new greenhouse will be used to help increase student involvement and the amount of products FFA can grow and sell each year.
LCHS FFA Vice President Kalyn Peek helped iniate the program by filling out an application asking the local Ag Development Board for help funding the project. The greenhouse was constructed by Martin’s Produce Supply.
Special thanks to the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, the local Ag Development Board, local endowment sponsor Nick Carter, Lincoln County Extension Agent Tyler Miller and the Lincoln County School District for helping make this project possible.
More information regarding the spring greenhouse sale will be available soon.
